Bid Synopsis:

PHMDC seeks to contract with a provider of animal shelter services (Contractor) that will perform the following services:

1. Provide care, treatment, and humane disposal of stray and abandoned animals located within the geographic limits of Dane County.

2. Provide care, treatment, and humane disposal of impounded animals seized within the geographic limits of Dane County by humane officers and/or law enforcement personnel pursuant to Chapter 173 of the Wisconsin Statutes and other such authority.

3. Deliver rabies-related services for stray, abandoned, impounded, and wild animals located within the geographic limits of Dane County and known to have bitten a person or believed to be afflicted by or exposed to the rabies virus.
