ADA-09535 Proposal to Issue a Boundary Crossing Permit at Lawing Airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to issue a Boundary Crossing Permit at Lawing Airport to Tutka, LLC under ADA-09535 (Parcel C). The permit will be issued in accordance with Alaska Administrative Code 17 AAC 45.285. Annual fee: $8,190.91. Authorized uses: Non-aeronautical ? Vehicular access to the rock quarry material pit located within the premises of the Lawing airport. The approved entrance is adjacent to the eastern airport boundary known as the “southern route”. No entry is permitted on or near the runway or object free area parallel to the runway.

This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed permit. Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., October 20, 2022, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the permit. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection, or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
