Riverview Hall Renovation. The Project renovates the existing three (3) floors of the building along with conversion of the attic floor into a mechanical equipment penthouse for the Communications Studies Department. Existing mechanical and electrical systems are being replaced with new systems tying into University's central steam, chiller, power distribution, communications, data, cable TV and security systems. In addition to the work on the building interior, exterior work includes masonry restoration, window replacement and exterior entrance and sidewalk replacement. Re-roofing and cupola replacement have been completed under previous contracts. The intent of the Construction Documents is to restore Riverview back to its original condition and character re-using existing/salvaged wood floors, doors/frames, trim, beadboard wainscot, chalkboards, cast Portland ceramic, etc. The original building construction is non-insulated exterior masonry bearing walls and interior masonry...
