Sealed bids will be opened at Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, 801 Center Street, Bowling Green, Kentucky, on December 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. for the installation of Capital Improvements Project W06-645 for the Bowling Green Municipal Utilities Water Sewer Division. The Scope of work to be contracted is set out on the drawings and the quantities are detailed in the Bid Proposal. The Project involves: (A) 3,385 feet of 8 water main, B) 130 feet of 6 water main, (C) 62 customer service, (D) 10 gate valves, (E) 4 fire hydrants, (F) 7,885 square yards of street resurfacing. The scope of work includes the removing, furnishing and installation, of all required water main piping, water service line, water meter settings, street/drive/walk repairs, equipment and materials; including temporary service provisions, testing, disinfection, start-up and warranty.
