Synopsis:

The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region has a requirement to replace the Chandler and Roza Power Plants excitation systems. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990, and the size standard is $28.5 Million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. The magnitude of the construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The project entitled Chandler and Roza Power Plants Excitation Systems Replacement, Yakima Project, Washington requires furnishing and installing new static excitation systems, (2 static excitation systems for Chandler and 1 static excitation system for Roza) including fused disconnect switches, power potential transformers, circuit breakers, SCR bridges, digital voltage regulators with redundancy and associated limiters, instrumentation, protection, and control components. Work also includes removal and disposal of existing voltage regulators (2 voltage regulators for Chandler and 1 voltage regulator for Roza), field breakers and associated equipment; modifying existing rotator exciters to facilitate connection of new excitation system; furnishing and installing conduit for power and control wiring; furnishing and installing conductors for power circuits; furnishing and installing control and metering wiring; furnishing spare parts, drawings and data; training Government personnel; and testing. Chandler Power plant is located approximately 10 miles northeast of Prosser, Washington. Roza Power plant is located approximately 3 miles northeast of Yakima, Washington. This acquisition is being procured using FAR Part 15 negotiation procedures and is not set set-aside for small business concerns. The magnitude of the construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
