Q 1700 08 0605. This solicitation as well as any issued amendments will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about July 22, 2008. A PAPER SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Telephone, fax, or email requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. Work of this contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision to move and install two #2 Fuel Oil 500 gallon above ground storage tanks and remove a 2,500 gallon #2 Fuel Oil underground storage tank. Bid options include installation of a #2 Fuel Oil 2,000 gallon above ground storage tank and removal of a second #2 Fuel Oil 2,000 gallon underground storage tank. Also included in this work will be concrete demolition, excavation, painting, fence installation, concrete and asphalt walkway construction, boiler start up and testing. Tanks are secondarily contained and are not known to be leaking and soils testing or contaminated soils clean up are not included in this contract. Work will be in Acadia National Park at Bar Harbor and Winter Harbor, Maine. The contract will performed in September and October 2008. Pre-quote site visits will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Meet at 9 am at the Park Visitor Center located off Route 3 in Bar Harbor, Maine and meet at 1 pm at the main gate at Schoodic District, Winter Harbor, Maine. All quoters are encouraged to visit both locations. NAICS 237120 Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. Estimated price is under $100,000. Hard copy quote documents only shall be accepted for this solicitation (no faxed or electronic quote documents will be accepted). Quotes must be received at Acadia National Park, P. O. Box 177, Route 233, McFarland Hill, Bar Harbor, Maine 04609 by close of business on August 22, 2008. A complete quote package shall include one copy of completed SF 18, Request for Quotation, with original signature; completed quote schedule; and completed section K, Representations and Certifications. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price related factors included in the solicitation.
