Requirement for award of a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to renovate administrative and supply buildings at Fort McCoy, WI in accordance with specifications, drawings and conditions contained in the Invitation for Bid. There are a total of 45 SA2-RB4 type buildings, 25 DFAC-A10 type buildings and 12 IBA type buildings that may be awarded under this contract. The term of the contract will be a base period with a government option to extend for 2 option years. The project magnitude is over $10 Million (including all option years). A 20% bid bond is required with the bid and Payment and performance bonds will be required for each Delivery Order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $31 Million. This Invitation for Bid will be solicited as 8(a) competitive within 8(a) firms in Region V (states of WI, MN, IL, OH, MI and IN). Bidding documents will be available electronically at www.fedbizops.gov on or about 1 August 2008. Telephonic, written, faxed, or electronic request for hard copies of proposal documents will be denied. Interested parties must access the web page for issuance of the Invitation for Bid, associated documents, and any amendments that may be issued. Contractors will NOT be directly notified of amendments. The Bid due date will be approximately 30 days after issuance (initial posting on website) as indicated on Invitation for Bid. All bidding forms, bid bonds, and other documents required for bid submittal shall be in paper medium. Electronic submission of proposal documents will NOT be allowed. All responsible 8(a) sources within Region V may submit a bid, which shall be considered.
