Q1700080602. This solicitation as well as any issued amendments will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about February 8, 2008. A PAPER SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Telephone, fax, or email requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The work of this contract consists of remodeling a storage room into a 1024 SF food serving line and staging/storage area, within the Schoodic Division of Acadia National Park. The work includes: Removals, cutting and framing new door openings, constructing dry wall partitions, to include board wainscoting, installing associated insulation, doors, laying VCT and painting. Additionally includes installation of new electrical outlets, branch circuits, hydronic fan coil units, sinks and piping, utilizing existing service lines. Project will require installation/relocation of sprinkler heads. Contract will include furnishing and installation of base cabinets, tray slides, plastic counters, and sneeze guards. Work to be completed between March 21, 2008 and May 21, 2008. NAICS 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This solicitation is set aside for HubZone and Service Disabled Veteran owned small businesses. Estimated price is under $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 10:00 am (snow date Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 10:00 am). Meet at the entrance gate to the former Navy base, Schoodic Loop Road off Route 186, Schoodic District, Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor, Maine. Hard copy quote documents only shall be accepted for this solicitation (no faxed or electronic quote documents will be accepted). Quotes must be received at Acadia National Park, P. O. Box 177, Route 233, McFarland Hill, Bar Harbor, Maine 04609 by close of business on March 13, 2008.
