Synopsis:

The work consists of dismantling and reconstructing the walls of the Tack House at the Rogue River Ranch. The building is a historic structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Tack House is a wood-frame, one-story building with wood lap siding. A concrete slab exists under the walls and serves as the footing. The existing framing members are badly rotted and structurally unsound. Temporary shoring of the roof will be necessary in conducting this work. The building will be closed to public access during the demolition and construction. NAICS Code is 236220. Project site is located in Grants Pass Resource Area, Curry County, Medford District, Oregon. The work site is at the Rogue River Ranch, near the village of Marial, Oregon, approximately 1.5 hours from Glendale, Oregon. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work is August 15, 2008, and performance time is 60 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: None; Performance Bond: 20%; and Payment Bond: 100%.
