The work will consist of the removal of approximately 500,000 cubic yards of maintenance material to be removed using a shallow draft pipeline dredge. The estimated completion time is 90 calendar days with a production rate of 450,000 cubic yards of dredged material per month. Solicitation issue date is 18 August 2008. Response date is 17 September 2008 @ 2:00 PM. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $18.5 million and will be advertised as an Unrestricted Procurement. All offerors are encouraged to visit the Armys Single Face to Industry Website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi to view and download the plans, specification and or any amendments for this procurement. Plans and specifications will not be available in paper format or on compact disc.
