Description
This requirement is to provide all tools, labor, materials, supervision and transportation necessary for providing an exhaust system for the Chemical Mixing Room system serving the Paint Booth in Building 160 at Key Field, Meridian, Mississippi, as s hown on Contract Documents prepared by Engineering Plus, Consulting Engineers, dated December 15,2007.
The work consists of the following:
1. New exhaust system including new slot hood, exhaust fan, makeup unit, ductwork and manual controls.
2 . New electric radiant ceiling panels for Rooms 115 and 116.
3. Miscellaneous work including electrical power wiring for new equipment, cutting and patching, fire-stopping and system test and balance work.
The magnitude of the project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The period of performance is 60 calendar days after notice to proceed. A site visit will be conducted 08 April 2008 at 0900. If you are unable to attend the scheduled site visit notify the Billy Barnett for an alternate date to visit the site. Interested contractors will meet in the Civil Engineering Classroom Building 600. Information on plans and specifications will be provided at the site visit. You must be present to submit a proposal for this project. A copy of the so licitation W9127-Q-08-R-0005 will be available 08 April 2008 and will only be forwarded electronically to the contractors who attend the prearranged site visits. Proposals are due no later than 11:00 Central Standard Time 09 May 2008.
