Description
The Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to make improvements to two existing trailheads at the Chief Mountain OHV Area as specified in the Solicitation. Solicitation Number FAQ080029 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the improvements. DESCRIPTION/LOCATION OF WORK - Using Contractor furnished equipment, supplies, and materials (except for specified Government furnished property) the contractor will complete the improvements to the areas as specified in the statement of work. Work will include, but is not limited to, grading existing access roads, supply and transport Type II road base material, spread, grade, and pack the road base in designated areas. Work under this contract is located in Lincoln County, State of Nevada. Chief Mountain is an Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) emphasis area located directly West and North of Caliente, Nevada (See map in solicitation package). Caliente is located approximately 151 miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada and approximately 100 miles west of Cedar City, Utah. Three trailheads exist within the Chief Mountain OHV Area, which access trails within the Chief Mountain OHV area and the Silverstate OHV Trail. Complete specifications, maps and requirements will be included in the solicitation package. Solicitation package will be available electronically on or about January 16, 2008. Please print the Standard form (SF)-18 and all clauses and attachments. Quotes will be due on or about January 31st, 2008. Quotes may be submitted to Bureau of Land Management, Ely Field Office; Attention: Kim Ferguson, HC33 Box 33500, Ely, NV 89301. By express or hand delivery to: Bureau of Land Management, Ely Field Office; Attention: Kim Ferguson; 702 No. Industrial Blvd, Ely NV 89301, or by facsimile to (775) 289-1910. An award will be made based on Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. Quotes shall include the following items: 1) Pricing Schedule, 2) Experience as detailed in the solicitation, 3) Relevant Past Performance from the past three (3) years as detailed in the Solicitation, 4) Include TIN and DUNS Number, 5) Offer must be signed, and 6) Representations and Certifications must be submitted (Note: Annual representations and certifications can be completed at Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. If not completed electronically, then FAR Clause 52.212-03; Offeror Representations and Certifications, found in the solicitation package, must be completed and submitted) This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The standard NAICS classification is 237990. Size standard is $31.0 million. The Government intends to award this contract on an all-or-none basis. The solicitation will be issued on or about January 16th, 2008. Detailed information, including a Statement of Work and Maps, will be included. In accordance with FAR 36.204(b) Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
