The work consists of approximately 800,000 cubic yards of interior excavation that will be used to raise the perimeter levees. There will be rehabilitation of the existing drop-outlet structure, which will include sand blasting and painting, and the removal and replacement of pipes. Also, one new drop-outlet structure, will be constructed. Estimated completion time is 300 calendar days. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 22 August 2008. The estimated cost range for this project is between $5 million and $10 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $31 million. Plans and specifications will not be available in paper format or on compact disc.
