Synopsis:

This is a Source Selection Best Value Solicitation to provide for a General Construction Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for construction, alteration, and repair to Government facilities by means of an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity MACC for various facilities in the North Carolina area. A maximum six (6) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contracts for General Construction Projects in North Carolina will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Task orders issued under this MACC will be design build or design bid build. The performance period for each contract will include an initial base period of twelve months with four (4) twelve-month option periods for a total performance period of sixty months. The maximum annual value of the contract is $20,000,000. For the total performance period (base plus all options) total estimated construction costs for all contracts will not exceed a total value of $100,000,000. The minimum guarantee is $5,000 per contract over the full term of the contract to include option years. Typical projects will have an estimated construction cost between $100,000 up to $5,000,000. There will be a seed project included in this solicitation.
SEED PROJECT: The request for proposal will include an initial 100% design bid build for Interior/Exterior Repairs to Building AS-4159, Marine Corps Air Station, New River, NC. The work include demolition of a thru the wall heat pump, demolition of lighting, air and lube reels, one door, one window unit, VCT, ceiling tile, and existing roofing surface material. The work also includes installation of a new thru the wall heat unit system, lighting, steel door and frame, bricking the lower section of windows up with new fixed section windows, demolition and installation of built in lockers, removal and preparation of all painted surfaces for new paint, new VCT, ceiling tile, new 15 year roof system, and incidental related work.
