Description
A Site is scheduled for 8 April 2008, 2:00pm at Joint Interagency Task Force South, Truman Annex, Navel Air Station Key West, Key West Florida 33040. Interested person's should request draft solicitaiton, security procedures, and location directions via email to renee.mims@jiatfs.southcom.mil by noon 4 April 2008 with the subject line Site Visit Information.
The intent of the procurement is to award one IDIQ task order contract for minor construction projects within and area of the JIATFS compound located on Naval Air Station Key West, Truman Annex, Key West, Florida. This acquisition is unrestricted in an effort to promote full and open competition.
This contract is for repair, rehabilitation, alternation or renovation of Faciliti es within the Joint Interagency Task Force Compound located on Truman Annex, Naval Air Station Key West, and Key West. The maximum amount of work to be awarded during the term of the contract is $300,000. The guaranteed minimum amount of work to be award ed during the term of this contract is $10,000. Each Work Order will be a minimum of $1,500 and a maximum amount of $99,000.
Work will involve a variety of minor construction and facilities maintenance type requirements, which are generally; repair , maintenance, or services related to existing Federal Government Facilities within the area of responsibility under this contract. These requirements may include, but not limited to, roofing, concrete, masonry, mechanical work, electrical work, facility or office renovation or rehab, paving, painting, fencing and civil work. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220. Personal services will not be ordered under this solicitation.
