Synopsis:

The 5th Contracting Squadron requires the demolition of a 20,000 barrel fuel tank and associated piping, concrete dike, slab, pump house, and removal of high temperature hot water lines, in accordance with plans and specifications, MIN 08-0166, Demo Heat Plant Tank & High Temp Hot Water Lines. The work is 90% General, 7% Mechanical, and 3% Electrical. The statement of magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Performance Period is 180 days. Liquidated damages will be assessed for late performance. A 1-year warranty of construction is required. The complete package will be made available only through the Internet. The address is http://www.fbo.gov/. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the Internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on the Internet. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from the Internet to update files. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is: 237990. The small business size standard is $31,000,000 in average annual receipts for the past 3 years. This project will be solicited as full and open to both large and small businesses. FAR clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns is applicable to this solicitation.
