This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6. A written solicitation, Request for Quotation Q5535080351, is being issued for these services. This solicitation is restricted to small businesses.
SCOPE OF WORKThis project entails the cleaning of the parks storm sewer systems. These systems are at eight various locations. This work includes testing of the storm filter system with USGS prior to the work; removal of covers of the filter units; cleaning all grit, oil, grease, etc. from the storm sewers, inlets, manholes, oil/grit separators, and filter systems; moving the storm filter cartridges from the storage location to the filter units; removing, emptying, and cleaning the storm filter cartridges; installation of the new storm filter cartridges; shipping of the empty cartridges back to the manufacturer and reinstallation of the covers on the storm filters. The Park is providing the new storm filter cartridges (qty. 517). Please note the minimum qualifications of contractors in section 1-18.
A copy of the original construction drawings for the storm sewer system is available. Any additional information needed will be the responsibility of the contractor to obtain.
LOCATION
All work will be performed in Mammoth Cave National Park, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, Edmonson County.
