Synopsis:

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a competitive, Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business set-aside. The James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital, Tampa, FL, will conduct a source selection using lowest price, technically acceptable procedures to award project 673-314, Upgrade Main Lab, Phase 2. Technical evaluation will be conducted on a pass or fail basis. Technical evaluation factors will be relevant experience and past performance . Further details will be provided in the RFP. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) and listed in the VetBiz vendor registry (http://vip.vetbiz.gov/). Project scope includes demolition, ACM removal, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications systems, architectural alterations, drywall finishing, painting, and certain other items of work required by project plans and specifications. Work shall be completed within 365 calendar days after receipt of a Notice to Proceed. Project magnitude is between $2.0 million and $5.0 million. Applicable NAICS Code is 238990; size standard is $13.0 million. RFP issue date will be on or about 26 Feb 08 with a 30 day proposal period. Solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) web page (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). A response to this notice is not required.
