THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. The project consists of removing an existing native log bridge and abutments, constructing new treated timber abutments and wingwalls, supplying and installing a precast/prestressed concrete voided slab superstructure, installing a bituminous wear surface on bridge and approaches, installing riprap, and installing four (4) Type 3 object markers on glue-laminated guard posts. The native log bridge has been closed to traffic so no equipment will be allowed on the bridge prior to its removal. The equipment will be allowed to ford the creek, however, no more than 3 round trips will be permitted. The project is located on FS Road 70304, Custer County, Township 11 North, Range 12 East, Section 4, approximately 10 miles northwest of Stanley, Idaho. The project may be reached by following State Highway 21 west out of Stanley for approximately 10 miles, turn north onto Forest Road 70304, and proceed approximately 0.5 miles to the bridge crossing of Valley Creek. NAICS code: 237310. Size Standard: $31.0 Million. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Estimated start date is 8/02/08 with 90 calendar days for completion. This procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside. This is a 100% Hubzone Set Aside.
