Request for Proposal - N1378080006 - HUBZone SetAside - ReRoof Buildings located in Colorado National Monument, CO, approximately ten miles west of Grand Junction, CO. Construction magnitude $100,000 to $250,000. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract. The work of this contract consists of (1) ReRoof Building #11-remove the existing wood shingle roofing system and replace with a new panel roof system, including all accessories. The work also includes removing and replacing the metal gutter and downspout system, as well as removing and reinstalling roof-mounted equipment, and a new concentric vent. (2) ReRoof Building #12 - remove the existing wood shingle roofing system and replace with a new metal panel roof system, including all accessories. The work also includes removing and replacing the metal gutter and downspout system, as well as removing and reinstalling roof-mounted equipment, and a new concentric vent. The work also includes provision of an aluminum fascia cover, to match existing. (3) ReRoof Building #13 - remove the existing wood shingle roofing system and replace with a new metal panel roofing system, including all accessories. The work also includes removing and replacing the metal gutter and downspout system, as well as removing and reinstalling roof-mounted equipment , and a new concentric vent. (4) Replace roof sheathing: The work consists of removing damaged 1x6 board sheathing and replacing in kind. It is highly recommended that the contractor visit the job site prior to submitting a proposal. A paper solicitation will not be issued and electronic submission of contractor proposals will not be accepted. This is a best value procurement and award will be made based on price and non-price related factors. The Government will not accept an offer for award on the basis of superior capability without concern for the price of the offer. Non-price factors are approximately equal to cost or price. Factors include, but may not be limited to: project management, demonstrated abilities in work required (experience) and past performance. Solicitation issue date is on or about May 28, 2008.
