Synopsis:

Request for Proposal - N1470080002 - Hubzone Set Aside - Replace Water Lines of the primary Water System at Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve, located 35 miles northeast of Alamosa, Colorado. Construction Magnitude $250,000 to $500,000. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract. The work of this contract consists of the construction of water lines on the primary water system which servesthe headquarters, entrance station, maintenance area, residential area, visitor center, picnic area, and dunes area. Work includes construction of approximately 5,000 linear feet of 2" diameter HDPE fill line from existing pump house #1 to an existing above ground storage tank and approximately 2,170 linear feet of new 3" HDPE distribution line on a portion of the distribution system. Work includes valves and appurtenances and connections to the existing water system. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. It is highly recommended that the Contractor visit the job site prior to submitting a proposal. Work will be completed in accordance with government furnished specifications and plans. A paper solicitation will not be issued and electronic submission of contractor proposals will not be accepted. This is a best value procurement and award will be made based on price and price related factors. The Government will not accept an offer for award on the basis of superior capability without concern for the price of the offer. Non-price evaluation factors, when combined, are approximately equal in importance to price. Factors include, but may not be limited to: past performance, demonstrated abilities in work required (experience) and project management.
