The Contracting Point of Contact for this notice is David Dilks at (206) 764-6952. The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a requirement to repair building 2025 on Fort Lewis, WA. Project consists of the repair of a historic building on Fort Lewis. Demolition will include abatement of hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead paint. Project will include replacing main power to building and upgrades to all building systems to include: electrical, mechanical, communications, data, and architectural. Specific work will include rough and finish carpentry, gypsum wallboard, interior painting, steel siding, vinyl flooring, carpet, plumbing fixtures, data and communications, hydronic heating, elevator installation and ADA compatibility, exterior historic window repair, and electrical wiring and lighting fixtures. Magnitude of construction for this project is in the range of $10,000,000 to $25,000,000 with a completion period estimated at 475 calendar days. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $33.5M. The solicitation will be set-aside for small business concerns and will be issued as a Request for Proposal using the Lowest-Price, Technically-Acceptable source selection process as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. A firm-fixed price contract will be negotiated as a result of the solicitation. As previously stated, this project is set-aside for eligible SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its average annual gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $33.5 million.
