The principal components of work include the following:
Installing 245-kV power circuit breakers including support structures,245-kVmotor-operated disconnecting switches including support structures, 245-kVcombined current and voltage transformers including supporting structures,andduplex switchboards.
Installing 230-kV Take-Off Structure including anchor bolts, 230-kV By-Pass
Pole Structure including anchor bolts, bus poles including anchor bolts,switchoperating platforms, and equipment cabinet platforms.
Furnishing and installing reinforced concrete foundations, post insulators,
suspension insulators, aluminum conductor, steel seismic switchboard bases,
anchor bolts, cable trench, aluminum tubular bus, hardware, fittings,outdoorAC panel board, dry-type transformer, safety switch, and lighting units.
Furnishing and installing control cable, insulated power cable, fiber optic
cable, buried copper ground wire, above ground and buried conduit andterminalboxes.
Environmental quality protection measures in accordance with Division 13.
All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications anddrawings. Afirm-fixed price contract award is contemplated and the period ofperformanceis for all work to be completed within 140 days of notice to proceed. Theproject magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00.

The successful contractor will be selected usingPerformance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value totheGovernment.
