THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR 8(a) CONTRACTORS ON A COMPETITIVE BASIS. At least one (1) or more firm fixed-price contracts will be negotiated for a Design-Build Indefinite Delivery Contract for Performance Oriented Construction Activities (D-B ID POCA). The total cumulative award amount of each of these indefinite delivery contracts will not exceed a total duration of five (5) years and $15,000,000. There are no geographical limitations. All services required under these contracts shall be d escribed in an individual scope of work which may include, but not necessarily be limited, to the following types of tasks: work will involve design/build and/or work plan, geotechnical exploration, site survey and maintenance, repair and renovation of Go vernment facilities. A typical contract may include the following: design-build of a new facility, as well as surveying a problem, recommending a solution, correction of a problem in a timely manner and providing all labor, equipment, materials, and super vision to perform construction in accordance with an approved design/work plan or specifications. Prior experience and resources will be evaluated. For security reasons, this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Technical Data Solutions (Fed TeDS) system. FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders must register with FedTeDS before accessing the system.
