Salem Flight Operations Facility
Pre-Solicitation Notice
Project Number 410125D003
The Oregon Military Department (OMD) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Construction Manager/General Co ntractor services in approximately February 2008, on the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) System. Services will include cost estimating, scheduling, and constructability reviews during design. In addition, the CM/GC will construct the Salem Flight Operations facility and provide construction management services. OMD estimates that construction will begin in approximately June 2008, with substantial completion to occur approximately in August 2009. The estimated construction cost is $7,000, 000.
The Facility will be located next to the Salem Airport, and consists of approximately 28,000 SF of administrative and classroom space, and approximately 12,000 SF of utility space. OMD awarded a design contract with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. in January 2008.
