Synopsis:

THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL 8(A) SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
PROJECT DETAILS: This project will consist ofgrading, paving, aggregate base course, drainage, reinforced fill, rock embankment, and MSE wall on 2.311 miles of roadway for CA ERFO 13(1), Six Rivers-Orleans, in Six Rivers and Klamath National Forests, Humboldt and Siskiyou Counties, California. Estimated price range is between $$2,500,000 and $3,500,000.

This project contains one schedule. Principal work items on the schedule include: lump sum contractor testing; 8,490 ln ft of soil erosion control (silt fence and sediment logs); 12,000 sq yds of clearing and grubbing; 6,500 cu yds of roadway excavation; 2,000 cu yds of subexcavation; 7,840 cu yds of embankment construction (smoothness incentive); 13,500 sq yds of geogrid (uniaxial and biaxial); 27,000 sq yds of roadway obliteration, method 2; 660 cu yds of wall structure excavation; 214 cu yd of placed riprap (class 3 and 5); 2,750 cu yds mechanically placed special rock embankment; 870 sq ft welded wire faced mechanically stabilized earth wall; 12,500 ln ft ditch reconditioning; 6,110 tons of roadway aggregate; 23,000 sq yds of surface treatment, designation 2B (materials incentives); 95 tons of grade CRS-2 emulsified asphalt; 500 ln ft of pipe culvert (various size); 2,090 ln ft of geocomposite underdrain system; 46,600 ln ft of type B solid pavement markings; 600 hours of temporary traffic control, flagger; along with associated removal of pipe culvert, guardrail, etc, minor hot asphalt concrete, asphalt curb, rental equipment, and traffic control devices.
