Synopsis:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District intends to procure on a sole source basis with Roscoe Allen Company, HWY 129 South Ocilla, and GA 31774, a follow on contract for Lease Agreement for a Base year, 1 option year and 4-three month options for Building 506C, MacDill AFB, FL. Roscoe Allen Company was awarded the previous 8(a) contract which expires 30 Sep 2008 to provide temporary office modular buildings/trailers at MacDill AFB, FL. A permanent building is under construction for the current tenants. It is considered to be in the best interest of the Government to continue the lease of the existing building until the anticipated completion of the new structure in FY 2010 to 2011. Lease of the existing building will reduce costs by eliminating costs for removal of the building, moving expenses for tenants, and procurement and installation of another temporary facility. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
