Synopsis:

UNRESTRICTED; NAICS CODE 721110 ($6.5 M) The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for the lease of 17 hotel/motel rooms in the Baton Rouge/Port Allen, LA area. The contract performance will be initiated in the event that a category 3 or higher hurricane approaches the Gulf Coast of the United States. Period of performance would be June 2008 to November 2008. Period of occupancy will be dependent upon the amount of destruction caused by the hurricane. Room requirements include pet friendly, refrigerator, microwave, FEMA certified, conference room in hotel/motel, web access, digital phone service, parking for multiple semi-tractor trailers, extra people allowed in rooms, and provide rooms within a 48 hour notice. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 7011, and the NAICS code is 721110. This solicitation is Unrestricted. Minimum guarantee is available for this contract. This will be awarded as an IDIQ contract (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) base year with additional options.
