Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of an existing 2000-gallon underground diesel fuel storage tank (UST) located at 7800 Wood Road. Tank is to be replaced with an above-ground diesel fuel storage tank with a capacity of 500 gallons installed on a pre-cast PCC reinforced foundation. The work includes removal and disposal of any encountered contaminated soil. Installation of properly compacted clean fill dirt within all excavated areas; all related testing, reporting, and manifest documentation as required by the County of Riverside Department of Environmental Health; and removal and replacement of all concrete and asphalt necessary to complete the work.
NOTE: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Wood Road Pump Station, 7800 Wood Road, Riverside, CA 92508, on July 8 at 10:30 a.m. This is the only time bidders will have access to the pump station. Attendees will be accompanied by City personnel during site examination. A reasonable amount of time will be allotted for the group to examine the site.
