This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

The purchase of One (1) each GEFCO 50K Topdrive Multipurpose trailer mounted drill rig and one (1) skid-mounted air compressor in accordance with part 5.01 of attached technical specifications. Although quotes are preferred for the GEFCO Drill Rig, quotes for equal products will be considered, provided they meet the salient physical, functional, and performance capabilities of the GEFCO Rig outlined in the attached technical specifications. Updated and revised technical specifications have been attached to this solicitation. Prices should be FOB Port of Embarkation (McGuire AFB, NJ 08641). Request delivery date is NLT 15 December 2008.
