Synopsis:

The US Fish and Wildlife Service, The Kern National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) 10811 Corcoran Road, Delano, CA 93216-0670, has a requirement for Water Control Structure Repair. Stuctures consist of concrete headwall box with attached cast iron canal gate and discharge pipe made of high density polyethylene. Work requires an Excavator and laborors using hand tools. Project magnitude is Less than $25,000 The contractor is responsible for visiting the site to access site conditions and requirements. Immediate Site visit is encouraged and may be arranged by calling David Hardt at 661-725-2767. This will be "best value" procurement. Solicitation number: 801818Q428 is expected to post on the National Business Center at last week in August. at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps. Due to FY end the solicitation response date will be approximately 7 days from posting date. Interested contractors must be registered in the CCR at time of award.
