will be received at the Department of Education, Procurement and Contracts Branch, Waipahu Civic Center, 94-275 Mokuola Street, Room 200, Waipahu, Hawaii 96797. The bid document, including drawings, and specifications will be available on compact disk and can be obtained from Hawaii Planz Administrators, Inc., 2929 Koapaka Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819, telephone (808)838-7526. One CD per company will be made available at no charge to the company; any additional CD(s) and/or hard copy(ies) will be provided for a fee payable to Hawaii Planz Administrators, Inc.

Sealed bids will be received up to and opened 2:00 p.m., H.S.T. on July 1, 2008. Bids received after this established date and time shall not be considered.

This project is subject to Hawaii Product Preference (HAR 3-124 Subchapter 1). The Hawaii Product List may be examined at the State Procurement Office or online at www.hawaii.gov/spo/SPO/Code/index_html.

To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawai i Contractor s license classification C-13.

The work generally consists of installation of exterior lighting for walkway and parking lot including wiring, time clock and light standards.

The estimated construction cost is between $50,000 and $100,000.

An intention to bid is NOT required for this project.
