USTRANSCOM/TCAQ-I anticipates issuing an RFP on or about 15 May 08 for CAT A cargo delivery services for less-than-full pallet, full pallet shipments, outsized, and oversized cargo weighing in excess of 300 lbs from locations identified in the Continental United States (CONUS) to locations identified Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS), retrograde shipments from OCONUS locations to CONUS locations, and between lateral routes defined as OCONUS to OCONUS locations. The service will include time-definite, door-to-door pick-up and delivery, transportation, Intransit Visibility (ITV), PowerTrack participation, and customs clearance. Services will be provided Monday through Friday, except holidays, and/or those holidays specific to international countries, as applicable.
Period of performance is for a one year base period, 1 Oct 08 through 30 Sep 09, with three one-year option periods-from 1 Oct 09 through 30 Sep 12. Interested offerors must be certified under Part 121 of the Federal Aviation Regulation (14 CFR 121) and willing to commit aircraft to the Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF).
