This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award a follow-on contract to Advantor Systems Corp, Orlando FL, who is considered a sole source based on the interchangeability and integration of their product with existing Advantor equipment. The following items are being purchased: **Provide and install 31 Automated Entry Control Systems (AECS) on doors at the 129th RQW, ensuring they interface with the Advantor Systems door entry control systems currently installed on other doors. The following buildings under the control of the l29th Rescue Wing will have access control systems installed on their doors Building 681 1 door, building 680 - 3 doors, building 653 - 3 doors, building 654 - 2 doors, building 656 - 4 doors, building 662 - 8 doors and building 650 - 10 doors. Access points should have a sign at each card reader and shall be mounted on the reader or support and shall read: *For Access, Swipe Card Here*. **Installed AECSs will be equipped with a HID Mi-fare Prox Reader (HSPD-12 compliant plus pin to enter, free egress, locking mechanism based on door type, associated industry requirements and wide gap door position switches to monitor door status. **Facility door: contractor will convert eight existing doors to HID Proprox Mi-fare readers HSPD-12 compliant. **Computer software SCIF: Contractor will provide and install AFW software on government furnished computer to control entry to building 656 SCIF. **Intrusion Detection System Expansion: Contractor will upgrade the current system to ASN 5.0 software using Air Force compatible computer system that are less than 12 months old, capable of meeting current and future needs of the existing system and future expansions Advantor security system computer hardware needs. This upgrade must include all system servers and workstations. Also all primary. Redundant server and Badging workstations. Contractor will troubleshoot and repair existing IDS systems to return all systems to fully functional operation void of Nuisance Alarms as identified in AFI31-101 1 MARCH 2003, 20.5.2.7. a. **New system brings existing security system into compliance with HSPO-12. It also builds on the existing Integrated Base Defense Security System that enhances the existing subsystems and infrastructure. And expands the current coverage of USAF Protection Level Resources. All vendors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Duns & Bradstreet, CAGE Code & Federal Tax ID numbers MUST be submitted with offer. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. Contract will be awarded unless another firm can provide and install equivalent equipment. Equipment offered must interface with currently installed Advantor Systems security equipment. All responsible business firms must respond in writing prior to 1300 30 May 2008.
