Synopsis:
The 642 Combat Sustainment Group Contracting Office at Robins AFB, GA, has a requirement for the Universal Maintenance Stand (UMS), NSN 1730-01-557-4560RN. The UMS is utilized to allow access to aircraft to perform maintenance operations. The technical specifications will be outlined in a purchase description. The Government intends to award a five-year, firm-fixed price, Requirements contract with Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs). The RFP and resultant contract will be structured with one basic contract period of 12 months and four annual option periods. BEQs for the UMS will be as follows - Basic year: 1 ea; Opt I: 10 ea; Opt II: 10 ea; Opt III: 10 ea; and Opt IV: 10 ea for a total BEQ of 40 each. Line items will also be included for mandatory testing and data requirements. FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, procedures will be used. Award will be made utilizing the Technically Acceptable ? Performance Price Tradeoff (TA-PPT) procedures, which will be identified in the RFP. The RFP and resultant contract will be set aside 100% for small business concerns; as such, foreign participation is prohibited. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency.
