Description
The proposed contract action is for an acquisition for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland PA has a requirement for 72 police officers uniform sets as follows:
Interested persons must meet the following requirements:
1. Merchant's facilities are within a 30 mile driving distance from Defense Distribution Depot, Tracy, CA 95304. This allows for a reasonable distance for current and future police officers to travel for measurements and proper fitting to project that professional image.
2. Merchant is able to conduct individual measurements and tailoring for proper fitting, at their facility.
3. Supply all items listed below.
4. Properly sew on all police patches on the police uniforms.
5. Merchant can complete and deliver uniform products to DDJC Police Department, Tracy, CA or Sharpe Depot in Lathrop, CA within 30 days from date order is placed for current or future police officers.
7. Merchant can meet the defined requirements for DDJC Police Department on a continuing basis.
8. Merchant will submit a separate invoice for each uniform issued.

The manufacturer of the uniforms is Flying Cross.
Image Uniforms has been identified as the supplier that can satisfy the requirements for the police uniforms.
