Sources are sought for follow-on contracts to provide accredited college instruction leading to award of undergraduate and graduate degrees at approximately 42 overseas military installations in the Pacific Area, including Korea, Mainland Japan, Okinawa, and Guam.
1.0 SUBJECT Request Industry comments to DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Solicitation No. FA5215-08-R-0005. Comments are due in writing via e-mail or fax to Ms Jani Faris by 2:00 PM HST on 3 January 2008.
2.0 DESCRIPTION The US Pacific Command (USPACOM) has a requirement for follow-on contracts to provide accredited college instruction leading to award of undergraduate and graduate degrees at overseas military installations in the Pacific Area. Undergraduate programs desired are Technical/Occupational, General Education/Accounting/Business/Economics/Computer Science Lower Division, Asian Studies/Foreign Languages Lower Division, and Upper Division Liberal Arts/Business. Graduate degrees and programs desired are Management/Business, Human Relations, Education, and International Relations/Government with an Emphasis in Pacific Studies.

7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The basic period of performance will be 1 October 2009 to 30 September 2010 with five one-year options. It is anticipated a draft solicitation will be issued on or about 29 February 2008. A pre-proposal conference is expected to be held in Washington DC on or about 10 July 2008. Additionally, during this same time frame, there will be an Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions Informational Seminar held for all interested HBCUs/MIs. A site visit to selected locations in Korea, Mainland Japan, Okinawa, and Guam is tentatively scheduled for 21 July to 1 August 2008.
