Synopsis:

The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Proposal for a firm fixed-price supplies contract for the U1, U2, and U3 Replacement Runners for Francis-Type Hydraulic Turbines at the Folsom Powerplant. The work is located at the Folsom Powerhouse, approximately 2 miles North-East of Folsom, California. The NAICS Code is: 333611. Award of a contract will be made in accordance with HUBZone Price Evaluation Preference procedures as described in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.1307. The principal components of work are as follows: (1) Fabricate and test one hydraulic turbine model, and provide test report; (2) Furnish and deliver three stainless steel vertical Francis turbine runners, nose cones, and coupling bolts; and (3) Furnish and deliver three sets of shear pins (quantity o24 per set) and one spare set (quantity of 12). No installation will be required by the Contractor; the Government will be responsible for installation. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is June 2, 2008. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at the above site, with the drawings being mailed to you by hardcopy. No paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed with the exception of the drawings.
