Request for Proposal number DOLJ08UA00022 issued as a Small Business Set- Aside for Outreach, Admissions and Career Transition Services for youth in the State of Tennessee will be available approximately February 11, 2008 at http://www. FedBizOpps.gov. Job Corps is a National program that targets disadvantaged and at-risk youth ages 16 through 24, and emphasizes long- term employability by providing academic and career technical training along with support services, in a residential and non-residential setting. The successful offeror will provide outreach and admissions for 200 arrivals annually from the state of Tennessee and career transition services annually for 147 Graduates and 117 Former Enrollees in the state of Tennessee. This contract will provide outreach, admissions and career transition services to support the Benjamin L. Hooks Job Corps Center located in Memphis, Tennessee. The resultant contract will cover the period August 1, 2008 through July 31, 2010, plus three Government unilateral option years. A Pre-proposal Conference will be held at the Department of Labor, Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 61 Forsyth Street SW, Room 8B25, Atlanta, GA 30303, (404) 302-5812 on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. local time. It is recommended that interested parties download the RFP from the FedBizOpps website prior to the Pre-proposal conference and bring the RFP to the conference. All questions prior to the Pre-proposal conference should be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, Lynn D. Owens; owens.lynn@dol.gov, no later than Monday, February 25, 2008 to facilitate responses at the conference. Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than 2:00 p.m., local time, on March 27, 2008, at the following address: U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Room 6B36, Atlanta, GA 30303, Attn: Lynn D. Owens, Contracting Officer. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency.
