The Regional Contracting Office SW is soliciting quotations to provide pyrotechnic, special effects, and role player training support for the Advisor Training Group (ATG), MCB, Camp Pendleton during October 2008. The exact training schedule and dates are not yet determined. The pyrotechnics required are items such as simulated RPG's and simulated munitions. The special effects include native dress and foreign weapons. The role player support requirement will be described in the forthcoming solicitation statement of work. The Government is soliciting this requirement as a Small Business Set-Aside under the NAICS 611699 with a size standard of $7M. This acquisition is be solicited utilizing simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items under the authority of the Commercial Items Test Program in FAR 13.5. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract as a result of quotations received in response to this solicitation. The anticipated solic! itation release date is 24 September 2008 and will be available for download from the NECO website listed below.
