Description
Request for Proposal number DOLJ09SA00001 for outreach and admissions services for youth in Northern California will be available approximately January 15, 2008, at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov. This is a small-business set-aside. Job Corps is a program that targets disadvantaged and at-risk youth, ages 16 through 24, and emphasizes long-term employability by providing educational and career technical training along with support services, in a residential setting The successful offeror will provide outreach and admissions services for three Northern California Job Corps centers. The resultant contract will cover the period October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2010, plus three unilateral option years. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held at U.S. Department of Labor, 90 7th Street, (Room number TBD), San Francisco, CA on Friday, January 25, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. local time. It is recommended that interested parties download the RFP from the website prior to the conference and bring the RFP to the conference. All questions prior to the pre-proposal conference should be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, Linda MacClellan, at macclellan.linda@dol.gov. Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than 4:00 p.m., local time, on February 29, 2008, at the following address: U. S.
