Synopsis:

This is a Sources Sought Announcement Only for purposes of conducting Market Research. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command Center Fort McPherson, Georgia is conducting Market Research to determine the existence of small business sources capable of performing Mobile Training Team services as prime contractors, Fort McPherson, Georgia. The anticipated North American Classification Code (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 611420; small business size is $6.5M. The Government will not reimburse any business concern for any information submitted in response to this sources sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. Business concerns submitting responses should indicate whether they are Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. All small business concerns are required to submit a written capability statement demonstrating the ability to perform and include the following: 1. Capability in providing training classes for certification in Security+ and CISSP at locations throughout CONUS. 2. Past performance information demonstrating relevant past experience in Security+ and CISSP training courses. 3. Current successful teaming arrangements with other business concerns, large or small. Capability packages should be limited to no more than 20 pages. All interested business concerns are required to respond to this announcement, via e-mail, by August 14, 2008, 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Responses must include company point of contact, e-mail address and telephone and facsimile numbers. The information provided in response to this announcement will be used to finalize the acquisition strategy for this requirement. If it is determined that responses received from small business concerns do not support the capability to perform this requirement, competition will be performed on an unrestricted basis, using full and open competition. Large business concerns are not prohibited from responding to this announcement.
