The Small Business Set Aside Request for Proposal (RFP) for outreach, admissions and career transition services for youth in the State of Minnesota will be available approximately Monday, April 7, 2008 on the World Wide Web at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov/. Job Corps is a program that targets disadvantaged and at-risk youth ages 16 through 24, and emphasizes long-term employability by providing educational and occupational skills training along with support services, in a residential setting. RFP DOLJ09RA00022 is to provide outreach and admissions for 370 arrivals from the State of Minnesota and career transition services for 353 Job Corps youth returning to the State of Minnesota. The resultant contract will cover the period February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2011, plus three Government unilateral option years. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held at 230 S. Dearborn, John J. Kluczynski Federal building, Office of Job Corps, 10th floor, Room 1098, on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. local time. We recommend that you download the RFP from our website prior to the conference and bring the RFP with you to the conference. All questions prior to the pre-proposal conference should be submitted in writing. Proposals in response to this RFP will be due no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon), local time, on Friday, May 30, 2008, at the following address. U. S.
