Description
THE CLOSING DATE IS EXTENDED TO 17 JAN 2008.
Contractor services to provide instruction in various military courses, such as basic military methods/ tactics and heavy weapons employment, provided by 20th Seabee Readiness Group (SRG) at the Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport MS and the 31st SRG at the Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, CA. Military methods/tactics courses include: Basic Combat Skills Level 1 & 2, Squad Leaders Course, Convoy Security, MOUT, Blue Force Tracker and various weapons employment courses include: Shotgun, M-16, M9, M-203, MK-19, M2, M240B and AT-4. Contractor shall provide classroom and field instruction utilizing lesson plans approved by the government. Contractor shall be required to prepare, administer and evaluate tests; analyze individual test results in relation to mandated course objectives; provide remedial training, as required, and submit reports per requirements established in the statement of work. The proposed procurement is for a base and one option period. The base period is expected to begin 1 March 2008. The resulting contract will be a Fixed Price Requirements type contract with indefinite delivery provisions. This will be an UNRESTRICTED requirement. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and, as a minimum, the wage determinations for Harrison County, MS and Ventura County, CA. The anticipated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 24 November 2007.
