Synopsis:

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), 1968 Gilbert Street, Ste. 600, Norfolk VA 23511 intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm fixed prices in accordance with FAR subpart 12.203, Procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items (Clinger-Cohen), to provide Electrical Standards Courses (A-493-0033) for the Naval Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Training Center (NAVOSH), Norfolk, VA. The purpose of the course is to provide full-time OSH personnel and designated collateral duty OSH managers/safety officers at shore activities with the training to identify and interpret electrical safety standards and apply those standards to ensure hazard-free workplaces. The class size is approximately thirty (30) pupils and the course length is approximately four (4) days. The anticipated locations are, Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA, Jacksonville, FL,! Pearl Harbor, HI, Bangor, WA, Camp Lejeune, NC, Camp Pendleton, CA, and OCONUS (i.e. Yokosuka, Okinawa, and Sigonella). This is a follow-on contract to contract N00189-03-D-0040. The resulting contract will be for a base year and four (4) one-year option periods. This requirement will be advertised on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS code is 611519, SIC Code 8249, FSC U099 size standard $6.5 million. The offerors quote shall be in the form prescribed by the solicitation and shall contain a response to each of the areas identified. In accordance with the provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, the quote will be evaluated based on the following factors: Phase I, Part I Resumes, Part II Past Performance, Part III Price Proposal; Phase II, Part I will consist of Written Material and Part II will consist of Oral Presentations. The solicitation number is N00189-08-T-0194 and will be issued on or about 05 May 2008. By submission of a quotation, the offeror ackno! wledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during the performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
