Description
This announcement is not a request for proposals. The Bureau of Reclamation Snake River Area Office intends to issue a sole source contract with Boise WaterShed Exhibits, Inc. The purpose of this contract is to provide funding to Boise WaterShed Exhibits, Inc (BWE), as the lead implementing agency, to produce an educational exhibit that presents the story of the Boise River watershed in a narrated/animated video format at the Boise WaterShed Environmental Education Center, located at 11818 Joplin Road, in Boise, Idaho. The exhibit, designed to encourage good stewardship of Boise Project water resources, will present the story of the Boise River watershed in a narrated/animated video format. The exhibit will feature geology, history, urban development, ground water, flora, fauna and water quality. The exhibit will also include a 5-10 minute video loop of Boise River water, habitat, fish birds, wildlife; water use of crops, farms, recreation, drinking water; and water abundance, water shortages, drought and dry lands. This contract will help produce an exhibit that will provide visual and audio messages to encourage good stewardship of Boise Project water and positively educate the public toward the use of all water resources in the Boise basin. Reclamation intends to negotiate the contract using less than full and open competition procedures. The period of performance for this contract will be contract award through June 30, 2008.
