Synopsis:

The United States Army Yuma Proving Grounds (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Radiant Communications Corp., 5001 Hadley Rd South Plainfield, NJ 07080-1128. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334290 with a standard size of 750 employees. This contract will consist of forty (40) MDL# VAD915S1-T-R Video, Audio, Data Tcvr, ST Connectors, and Rackmount. Radiant Communications Corp. is the original equipment manufacturer of the Radiant radios within the Range Transmission Systems (RDTS) currently being utilized at YPG and the VD915S1-T-R transceiver is required to provide compatibility in form, fit, and function. Interested parties must submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government requirement no later than 9:00 A.M MST on 30 July 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
