This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this work and this solicitation is a request for a proposal. The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 5 has a requirement for a trailer mounted, automatic self priming (up to 28 feet) diesel pumpset, Godwin Dri-Prime Model CD250M and/or equal.
This pumpset is capable of flow rates to 3600 gpm, with solids handling capabilities up to 3-1/8" in diameter, and also allows for indefinite dry running. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAIC code for this unit is 333911. In order to receive an award vendor must be registered at Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov ) . Any vendor receiving an award will be required to be set up for EFT (electronic funds transfer). Proposals are due by August 29, 2008 at 4:00 pm local time.
