Construct approximately 7,800 LF of trail in Portage Valley, Alaska. The work consists of the construction, installation or implementation of the following: Clearing & Grubbing; Excavation; Culvert Installation; Aggregate placement (base and surfacing); Erosion and Pollution Control; Mulching; Gabion Wall, Bridge, Boardwalk, Handrail and Curb Rail Construction, and Bollard and Sign Post Installation. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The estimated period of performance is 01 August 2008 through 31 August 2009. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select Register to Receive Notification and follow the steps. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the Plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for each project. In order to receive any contract award, Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). To register your firm in the CCR system, go to: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. To register your firm in the ORCA system, go to: http://www.bpn.gov. This solicitations is 100% HUB-Zone set-aide. Bids are being solicited only from HUB-Zone small business concerns. Funds are currently not available for this project. Upon receipt of funds the solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps. The estimated date of issuance is 09 June 2008 with estimated response date is 07/15/2008.
