Bidders WILL NOT automatically be notified of the existence of a modification, or award notice. It is the bidder's responsibility to monitor the BIDS listings periodically to see if any modifications have been issued. FAILURE TO RETRIEVE SUCH MODIFICATIONS, AND INCLUDE THEIR PROVISIONS IN YOUR BID RESPONSE, MAY RESULT IN THE DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR BID.
NOTE: Vendors delivering bids by hand must sign in at the CDOT Headquarters building front desk prior to submitting bids to the Purchasing Office. Vendor please arrive 10 minutes before the deadline to allow for the sign in process.
All bids submitted must be in a separate sealed envelope clearly indicating the Solicitation Number, Bid Submission Deadline and Time.
Faxes for formal bids are not acceptable. Documented Quotes will be acceptable by fax. |

The Colorado Procurement Code provides that a contract may be awarded for a supply or service, without competition, when there is only one source for the required supply or service. Therefore, a "sole source" procurement is justified if there is only one item or service that can reasonably meet the state's need and there is only one vendor who can provide the item or service.

It is the intent of CDOT to enter into a "sole source" procurement with New Leaf Software of Boulder, CO for replacement and modification of existing Traffic Network Interface (TNT) server, laptops and software for CDOT Region 6 Traffic Unit. Anyone wishing to review this "sole source" justification must contact Trish Wilson at (303) 757-9782 prior to the comments submission deadline indicated above.
